Wow, I've never had any of these phones - so I don't know how easy it would be to use - but I sure would like to get my hands on one! Look at it. It's so neat and compact! Just look at that smooth silver polish! Very modern, don't you think? Now think of it's ability to download cool stuff like ringtones, wallpapers and not forgetting, screensavers (yes, it's got WAP). It even has a composer, as well as 16 polyphonic ringtones - not bad. Yes, you may complain that it's too plain, but if you're definitely into the personalising thing, lo and behold!, you can change it's covers! Talk about customising your life! And that's just halfway into the features! Because, of course, they're other stuff I haven't mentioned, like T9 Predictive text, currency converter, voice dial (to make your life easy), and the list goes on... Can you believe all these features are squeezed into this little beauty?

Once you see such a small and frail looking phone the first thing that comes to your mind is that its for females.Thats certainly what i thought but mind you once i started using this phone it came it out to be quite strong. It survived 5 falls on solid cemented pavements.apart from its strenght is its beauty. When i used nokia phones no one said they were beautiful but after seeing this one most of my pals admired its design.Besides external features it also charges readily. Its battery life is great. This phone does have some problems though. No picture messaging and very few fuctions.Plus its not as user friendly as nokia phones.Iastly i bought this phone for £375 .As coloured and camera phones are also available with such a price tag one would not go for such a phone.None the less i lovethe fact that its screen is black and writing coloured unlike nokia phones which have the colourscheme in vice virsa.personallly i like it and so prefer using it and keep the large ugly cameraphones limited to parties only.

I am not a big user of the mobile phone so my review is based on the little I do use it. The phone is of a lovely little size and weight. I particularly like the flip lid that I find very useful as I always leave the phone on and in my bag and the lid prevents the buttons being accidently. I have many a time called a friend on speed dial or redial on my previous phone by something in my bag banging against a number. The voice activation is great and works quite well although is limited to a certain number of callers. If someone likes a phone to mess with ie. change ringtones, colour, mood etc. then this is the phone for them. On the down side: My phone came unfortunately came without the agreed three free games and the service shop is too far away for me to amend this so I am not too pleased about this. I also I feel it is quite hard to hear what the caller is saying some times and getting a clear reception is not as easily as other phones of different brands. Also the voice activation button and the volume button are on each side of the phone and I am constantly pressing them whilst I am talking on the phone to someone which causes a beep and becomes a nuisance. The phone ring is also not very loud and I seldom hear it in my bag. But on the other hand the beep that indicates you have a message is louder so I do eventually remember to pick up messages. Lastly, I have not experienced this but after reading a lot of reviews I have decided not to even try it. According to the reviews, the download speed for games is supposed to be quite quick (eg. 3 minutes) and only cost a certain amount of money but some reviews have indicated that this is untrue and it usually takes around 10 minutes to download a game. This of course would cost a lot of money so for this reason I have not dared to try it yet.

The Motorola V70 is I think one of the most inovotive designs that I have seen. the Roto-motion idea is top class however I bought one of these and while the design is classic the phone is let down in a dozen other ways. The battery life is short and thats when you can get it to charge (a fault tha Motorola have yet been unable to fix). The reception is poor compared to my old Nokia. The features are limited compared to most modern phones, however the predictve text works well. There is also a problem with the rotation of the phone answeing the call before you mean to and over rotation can cause you to hang up on a caller without meaning to. I do like the design, materials and finish on this phone but thats not enough to make it easily lived with. K.
