The size and weight of the phone is ideal its not to small. The wap feature is easy to use and the nokia menu system is very straight foward to use. It gives you plenty of charge i only need to charge mine once a week if i havent used it or i can get at least 1hr talk time. |

This review comes with a certain bitterness because I LOVED using this phone until some light-fingered thieving gypsy relieved me of it in central Madrid on St Patricks Day...some might say it was my fault; I blame the ale companies. Anyway, having had to revert back to an ancient handset, I can now tell you how much I miss all of the fantastic features of the 6210. I mean, I know it's not got a fancy coloured screen and it might not now be the best money can buy, but for a budget phone, it's gotta be the best. It's really slim, so you can slip it in your pocket and it doesn't look like you have a growth on your hip, but it's not so small you can't hit the right button when you need to, and you won't lose it. Even though it's light, the battery's fantastic...I mean I didn't have to charge it for up to 6 or 7 days sometimes - so good for when I was out in the mountains and far from a plug socket, but it still fully charges in under 2 hours. Robust? You betcha. This thing took some serious shocks and several major beer injuries and survived them all. The look of the phone is masculine too....all man. Mine was black and it wouldn't suit any girl's handbag, but this is it; it's like a Yorkie and not for girls. Go and buy a silver folding one ladies! What else...it buzzed; it talked to my computer with no wires via IR so I could save my numbers and messages and connect to the internet with its modem; it was a breeze to learn how to use but still had all the functions you needed; it saved literally hundreds of names (500) and then up to 5 numbers for each; I could say my mate's name to dial the number... ...and now some Spanish swindler has it, or has sold it on to another lucky buyer. With all these features you can see why he wanted it enough to nick it. It's a fantastic phone. Buy one. I'll be getting another just as soon as I can. |

| I have had this Nokia 6210 mobile phone for
over a year now and thought that I would contribute a few words. Good
phone, very good phone. Typical nokia though, easy to use, you cannot
really fault it in terms of sheer ease of use. However, I have had to
put up with constant niggles. I am the only person I know that can make
my phone crash (using the 'answer' button to send txt messages), very
bizarre! One sniff of damp or water forces it to switch off, and will
turn itself off in my pocket. The screen not being replaceable is a bit
delicate, mine impossible to read due to heavy droppage. It also has burnt
in a bit, my operator logo is still visible when switched off. Lastly
(!) the battery seems to be loose, and can be pushed in and out strangely.
Overall, it is an excellent phone to use and play with, but the build
quality is lacking. Shame. I'm off to get a sony! |
